Thomas Hass Christensen got a foothold on the danish music scene as a member and co-initiator of the hardbop quintet Page One, who in 1987 won the “International Jazz Federation” contest for young European jazz groups in Leverkusen, Germany.

Thomas Hass Christensen started to compose for TV and films in the early 90’s and scored in 1996 the feature “Hannibal & Jerry” by danish Wikke & Rasmussen and director Charlotte Sielings (The Bridge) debut short story “Tut & Tone” in 1996. Early 1999 he started a collaboration with producer Tommy Gee (One Direction, Usher, etc) in the electronic jazz /soul group The Society. The Society participated in several international compilations and managed to release two full albums and several 12" singles on the London-based record label Freestyle Records.

He has through all the years worked with many different kinds of music, including commissioned works for the Danish National Radio Big Band, feature films and TV commercials, ballet and theater.
